Dr. Asmat earned his Medical Degree from Nishtar Medical College of Multan, Pakistan in 1977 and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Prince George's General Hospital, Cheverly, Maryland in 1981. His residency in Diagnostic Radiology was completed at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington, Massachusetts, in 1984. Dr. Asmat then accepted a fellowship in Cardiovascular/Interventional Radiology at Boston's Tufts University School of Medicine. He is certified by The American Board of Radiology.
