Dr. Lane received her undergraduate degree from Carleton College, Northfield, Minnesota, in 1971. She was granted her Doctorate of Medicine, from Georgetown University School of Medicine, Washington, D.C., in 1979. Dr. Lane completed a residency in Internal Medicine from Washington Hospital Center in 1982 and a residency in Radiology from the George Washington University Medical Center in 1985. In 1986, she completed a fellowship in Cross Sectional Imaging at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington. Dr. Lane received postgraduate training in Stereotactic Breast Biopsies (1996) from the University of Virginia. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Radiology.
